Hello Guys !!
Mark Frey has offered to hold a fish fry at his place. Thanks Mark !
An option. I suggested that since we are already in the park to launch our boats and have paid for the day. Why not take advantage of the situation and have our fish fry right their under one of the picnic shelters?
Having it at the park allows us to release some of the big females after the weigh-in. We would not be saving them in live wells to take back for a fish-fry. Also we would only cook what is needed and we would be able to release the rest.
Everyone is there at one location already. People that might have travel issues won't have to worry. Having everyone their would make for a great photo op. for the web site.
Weather Permitting !! Otherwise we have have to go with Plan " A ".
**Important**
In order for this to work, we need people willing to help out or provide for the club.
YOU can't expect some to do all the work for others !!
1. Cleaning the fish. The more people we get here the quicker it will go !! Most Important !!!
2. We have a couple of cooks already, BUT if you wish to cook let me know. I've been know to let a pot boil dry more than once.
3. Cook stoves. We need a few cook stoves to cook the fish on.
4. Cutlery, paper plates, oil, paper towels and cups. Maybe a few guys could each get some of the items.
5. Frying pans and cooking utensils.
6. Garbage bags.
7. Bring your own beverage of choice.
Any other suggestions?
