Hi Everyone: I would just like to thank everyone who attended last weeks meeting. I found it very good to have the meet and greet and hopefully you all got to know each other a little better. As you all know I opened the door at this meeting for executive positions for our November elections. If anyone would like to step up and try to help improve the club please feel free to nominate yourself or someone else who you feel would do a good job. The next event on our agenda is the grand finale at Limerick Lake. If you would like to fish this final tournament of the year e- mail Greg Siblock for details and also for lodging arrangements should you wish to spend the night or the weekend. Our next meeting is on October 18th and our guest speaker will be Wil Wegman doing a presentation on the Lake Simcoe Smallmouth. If anyone has any specific topics they would like addressed or a speaker that they would like to see at the club please contact me as I am trying to set up speakers for the rest of this year and into 2011. As of now we have Rocky Crawford speaking in November and I would like to have someone in for the December meeting to talk about boat maintenance, winterizing and storage. I would like to do an ice-fishing feature in January if someone could suggest a speaker for this and then try to fill out the other months with your suggestions. I have confirmed with Andy that we will be given a free booth at the Spring Fishing show in February 18-21 so we will be looking for volunteers to man the booth as well as to help set up a booth for the club. We should also be hearing about the 2011 BassTalk as previous hosts and will need to come up with ways to make it bigger and better than last year, your suggestions are always welcome.
