Hi Guys.

With our next meeting less than 1 week away, I thought I might get off my a$$ and send out our monthly communication.

First off, I would like to thank Joe Figueira for coming by and sharing his strategies for attacking docks! I believe that Joe is our first guest to talk about docks exclusively and the feedback from the guys was it very informative. Thanks Joe!

Secondly, the guys at Basstalk, www.basstalk.ca , have contacted us again in hopes of holding another event. SOOOOO, Downtown Bass Anglers Club Presents The Second Annual Basstalk in Whitby!!! Which will be held in February or March, not entirely sure yet about the date but I will keep everyone updated. I spoke with Dave last week and he’s really excited about this year’s line up of speakers and topics.

Membership registration for 2010 will be taken this month. I’ll have the usual pre-printed forms ready for all past members. Membership fees will remain the same as last year, $60. Remember, about $30 of our membership goes to OFAH, www.ofah.org , which is a great way to support conservation programs here in Ontario.

A couple other items currently on the go are another tackle swap, product night and of course the Spring Fishing Show. As details are firmed up, I’ll get the details out to everyone.

Our guest for this month is none other than one half of this year’s Simcoe Open Champs, Barry Graves. Besides being a great smallie fisherman, Barry is a very accomplished multi-species fisherman as well. So make sure you have your questions ready, it should be a very informative night.

Finally, we should also have a few things cooking for this months meeting seeing as it’s the last one of this year, so make sure your drop by.
